Fitness

You can think of personal training as my secret sauce – it’s the fastest and safest way to get seriously awesome results. I develop fun individualized fitness programs that incorporate cutting-edge exercises to help you crush your fitness goals.

Taekwondo

My Taekwondo training is an exciting way to stay active and learn an effective self-defense style. This training helps to improve flexibility and build strength through performing forms, combinations, and foot work.

Kickboxing

As a child, I had a difficult upbringing, which made me question everything about my existence. In the search for self-identity and belonging, I discover Martial Arts. At 14, I started training in Taekwondo in earnest. Fitness and exercise became my greatest passions in life. It taught me patience, empathy, endurance, a positive attitude, and self-control. I dealt with my childhood trauma and later life challenges by breaking a sweat and working out my body. Before I'm halfway through, I feel a huge sense of accomplishment, calmness, and JOY.

Teaching, of course, is also near and dear to my heart, which does the work that I do as a coach and trainer is a confluence of my great loves. I enjoy every moment that I spend passing on Taekwondo, boxing, and kickboxing techniques. When you train with THETAEKGUY, you know that you are getting a full-package, well-rounded program that includes workouts, techniques, healthy diet/eating habits, and mental conditioning.

I always tell my clients that we must take care of ourselves from the inside out, which is why we focus on positive encouragement; our body listens to our mind and heart.

As you learn self-defense, you learn much more than just a set of moves or a fitness routine: you learn about yourself. That is what the practice of martial arts is all about, and when you study with THETAEKGUY, you know that you are getting an education that is all about you and your place in the world. When you are learning martial arts, discipline needs to be the end, not the beginning, the goal, and not the means. The more you try to use discipline to achieve something else, the shorter you will come with regard to your goals. Fortunately, I can help you. I’m THETAEKGUY, and I am a personal trainer who specializes in Taekwondo, boxing, kickboxing, and general fitness. A black belt in Taekwondo and a Certified Instructor in kickboxing, I have trained and guided many students to overcome great challenges in their lives, and it is deeply fulfilling to me to watch people move through my lessons and gradually come to know now just the practice better but themselves better.
